Have you noticed that at times it is helpful to come at an issue from a different perspective to create better understanding? Jesus was a master at this, explaining truth through penetrating teaching, insightful analogies, and vivid parables. This morning I received an email from challies.com, the site of a Christian blogger who everyday culls the best of the internet and adds his own excellent submissions as well (I would highly recommend subscribing to his daily email). It is a visual of the one anothers of the New Testament that comes at this familiar truth from a different perspective, with circles relative in size to the amount of mentions in the New Testament. It is a great reminder of the life the Lord has called us to live. What hits you as you look at this? You can even order this as a poster from his sight, as well as look at other visual theology prints. (For extra credit, check out the article our elder Glen McLuckie sent me this morning, on one key way we can practically love one another: gentlereformation.com/2016/02/16/beware-the-black-hole-of-time. Thank you for being people who love in this way, and may the Lord give us grace to continue to “fervently love one another from the heart” (1 Peter 1:22)!
