Membership in a local church is one of life’s most important decisions. When you become a Christian, you automatically become a member of the Universal Church or the invisible church. But you are mandated to find a Bible believing local church (visible church) and commit yourselves to it. Church membership provides the biblical context for Christians to commit to one another and help each other follow Jesus.
Membership Class
The Membership class helps you understand who we are, what we believe, and how we intend to help each other delight in Jesus Christ. Attending the class doesn’t obligate you to join the church, but it is the first step towards membership. The environment is casual, including time for discussion and questions. Lunch is provided.

We understand that it’s important for you to know the pastor and the Elders of the church you’re joining, and for the pastor and the Elders to know you.  So, this discussion helps us do that by providing an opportunity for the pastor to spend time with each potential member. The conversational setting gives an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the church and share your personal faith story.
The potential member will complete a membership application and upon recommendation from the pastor and the Elders, those who desire to join the church will be invited for an interview. The interview will be another opportunity for the potential member to ask any questions and also share their testimony.

After the interview and the recommendation from the pastor and Elder board, the potential member is affirmed by the congregation as a member. Then, we live out our body life with one another, serving the community, and making disciples that delight in the supremacy of Jesus Christ.
